Hi! My name is Samith Pich. I'm a visual artist who lives in the beautiful city of Perth, WA. I'm also a high school visual arts teacher and the proud daddy to two beautiful daughters. I have been creating Art nearly all my life but have pursued it more professionally in the past few years.

My Art has won awards, and has gathered collectors in WA, Australia, US and Britain. I have exhibited my work in art galleries, cafes, touring shows and online.

Artist's Statement:

If I had to sum up my arts practice in two words they would be “Love. Paintings.”
My arts practice is all about connections and heart, and very little about ‘concepts’. I purposefully use figures and couples as a means to investigate, meditate on, and celebrate our universal desire to connect and feel connected. Whether it is through a caricature, a drawing or a painting I am trying to express the innate beauty we all possess. I commit to painting on a very intuitive level, engrossing myself in the process and the moment. My desire is to create Art which is an outpouring of my heart that speaks to the hearts of people worldwide and inspires them to realise their own beauty, the beauty around them and their enormous capacity to love.
