Produce a TV Program for C31

Postby Tim Love - C31 on Mon Jan 25, 2010 2:21 pm

Hi all,

C31 (Channel 31 Melbourne) is currently looking for new producers to create programs for our Station. We’re looking for people that have passion and commitment, an amazing concept for a 13 week series, and the ability to source a volunteer production team. While we can give you tips on how to make a show, we operate just as a broadcasting office, and can't make it for you.

We’ll be holding a ‘Make TV’ information session on Wednesday, 27 January, 2010. If you would like to attend, please RSVP via email to info@c31.org.au.

Producing a community television program is also an excellent opportunity for aspiring television professionals. Both in front of the camera and behind the scenes, hundreds of C31 Melbourne volunteers have gone on to paid film and television work in Australia and overseas, and our programs are regularly picked up by commercial networks.

Our recent acquisition of a digital licence will mean that C31 is broadcast in commercial quality to more homes than ever before. Currently our Station reaches 1.4 million people in Melbourne and Geelong each month, and this number will increase significantly once we begin broadcasting in digital.

Thanks,

Tim Love

Hi Tim
Sorry I missed your posted message here in this forum. I am a freelance producer and teach Multimedia and screen based topics at VU, Holmesglen and RMIT. I would be interested in getting to know more about what C31 is looking for.

Would there be any info that you can mail me.

Cheers
